Three Lady Cooks

A brand of Royal Foods, Thailand, first photographed and launched in 1973. Three Lady Cooks, known in Thai as Sam Mae Krua, is Thailand's most recognised canned fish brand, awarded Thailand's Most Admired Brand for six consecutive years. The three women on the packaging are real: the central figure is Runglawan Sripatimakoon, a Songkran Goddess crowned in 1972, photographed for the label at age 28. Products include sardines and mackerel in tomato sauce, exported widely across Southeast Asia and diaspora markets globally.
