Founded in 1931 in Marzamemi, a small Sicilian fishing village on the Ionian coast historically defined by its tonnara, the ancient bluefin tuna trap that shaped the identity and economy of the entire area. Adelfio produces inside the former tuna processing facilities, where bluefin tuna, amberjack, swordfish, and mackerel are still handled by hand in the same spaces.
