One of Brazil's most recognised canned seafood brands, founded in 1942 in São Paulo. Gomes da Costa built its reputation on quality canned sardines and tuna, growing into a major Brazilian food company. Now owned by Grupo Calvo of Spain, which acquired it to expand into the Brazilian market.
