Founded in 1956 by Carlo Valmorbida, an Italian migrant from the Veneto region who identified a gap in the Melbourne market for tuna preserved in olive oil. Originally canned in Port Lincoln and Melbourne from Australian-caught tuna, Sirena is now manufactured in Thailand and Indonesia. A 100% Australian family-owned business run by the third generation of the Valmorbida family, Sirena is one of Australia's most recognised canned tuna brands and champions 100% pole-and-line fishing.
