Founded in 1880 as Simpson & Roberts in Liverpool, initially importing tinned lobster from Canada. The Princes brand was established around 1900, and the company moved into manufacturing after World War II. Now owned by Italian agro-food group NewPrinces Group, Princes is one of the UK's largest food and drink suppliers with over 350 products including canned tuna, sardines, mackerel, and salmon. Headquartered in Liverpool.
