Conservas Portugal Norte

Founded in 1912 in Sesimbra before relocating to Matosinhos after the Second World War, Conservas Portugal Norte is one of Portugal's oldest continuously operating canneries. António Faustino acquired it in the late 1980s and it has been a family operation since. Their oldest brand Porthos predates the company's current name. In 2025 they merged with Briosa into a new group, consolidating two of Portugal's most significant cannery operations.
