Founded in 1921 by women working at the fish market in Bermeo, who built their own factory that year and grew it into one of the Basque Country's most significant canneries. Merged with Astorquiza in 1990 to form Sálica, but the brand survived as the primary consumer label. Celebrated its centenary in 2021. Albacore and yellowfin tuna, Cantabrian anchovies, and Galician mussels, sold across Spain and international markets.
