Peregrino

Peregrino is a Spanish conservas brand producing traditional tinned seafood from the Cantabrian coast. The name, meaning pilgrim, evokes the ancient Camino de Santiago routes that pass through northern Spain, a region as famous for its preserved fish as for its pilgrimage heritage. Peregrino's range includes bonito del norte (albacore tuna), the white-fleshed tuna prized across the Basque Country and Cantabria and considered the finest tuna for conservas. The brand is distributed through Spanish specialty importers in the United States.
